Dark Sun
Taken at one of my favourite places in the entire world (not that I've made it too far, but it always will be regardless) just before leaving to head home. This photo is unaltered, although it wasn't that dark outside. Due to lighting and whatever else (probably simply because I aimed right at the blazing sun?) this is how it turned out. I think it's kind of cool. :)

Hidden Rainbow
Hidden Rainbow - September 29, 2005
I looked out the window and there was a rainbow arching right over our street. Once I got outside with a camera much of it had dissipated. But, in between the trees, over the rooftops, you could see some of the deeply saturated colour that was still left. It too was fading, but I caught a glimpse on digital film. And now you too can enjoy it. :)

Christmas Tree 2003
This was our tree and part of our living room area last year on Christmas Day. Note the "green Christmas" out the window - with the exception of the little bit of white from left over snowbanks from earlier in the month. I'll compare with this years tree and SNOW out the window tomorrow if I get on here. :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

The "Man" I Met in Frankenmuth
"To send me a joe who had winter and snow in his heart wasn't smart..."
If you know your "White Christmas" lyrics, you'll recognise that line from Rosemary Clooney's "Love You Didn't Do Right By Me" solo from near the end of the movie. ANYWAY, that is the snowman I met in Frankenmuth, Michigan in August of this year. (There's a gigantic Christmas store there for anybody confused by the snowman in August thing.) It seems like a festive enough pic to display now seeing there is actually some snow on the ground here for the mo'. Ah well... "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas..."
